ARMUN invites all 5th - 12th graders to join its Model UN and More Clubs this fall!
The Arlington Regional Model UN Clubs are starting up their MUN, Civic Engagement, and UNICEF Clubs for Middle and High Schoolers
The Arlington Regional Model UN Clubs (ARMUN) wants to invite all Middle School (5th - 9th grade) students and all high school (9th - 12th grade) students to consider joining us for our exciting year in the Model UN, Civic Engagement, and UNICEF Clubs that are getting ready to begin.
The Clubs both attend a number of local, regional and national Model United Nations Conferences during the year, and discuss, analyze, and debate current world events and issues in our meetings, go to a number of meet-and greet and educational workshop or lecture events with members of the diplomatic corps of many nations, our governmental representatives and staff members, representatives of non-profits and NGOs, and academic leaders, and we participate in meaningful community service connected to issues we have discussed and advocacy and educational outreach activities, as well as in public policy projects at a state or local government level.
The High School Club meets on Sunday evenings from 7 - 9 PM, starting this Sunday, September 10, at a member's home in Medford, MA near I-93 and Medford Square, and more information can be found on our website (pardon the appearance, it is under construction at the moment, thanks!) at www.arlingtonregionalmun.weebly.org. If you have further questions or want the details for the meeting you can contact the Club Director at kimkayholt@gmail.com.

The Middle School Club will be meeting on Thursday evenings, starting on September 21, from 7 - 8:20 PM in the 4th Floor Conference Room of the Robbins Library in Arlington Center, MA. For more information, again please see the website or email the Club Director. There is a possibility of a vanpool to the meeting in Arlington from Wakefield on Thursday evenings if there are students who are interested in that, please email Kim if you are interested in finding out about that option.
We welcome any and all students to come and try out the Clubs and see if they want to join us, no commitment. However, it helps our planning if you let us know that you are planning to attend the meeting. Thanks.
