Aug 13: NECW presents World Women's Wrestling 2016 IRON MAIDEN Championship at the Americal Civic Center

New England Championship Wrestling proudly presents a World Women's Wrestling special event – the 2016 IRON MAIDEN Championship, Saturday night, August 13 at the Americal Civic Center, 467 Main Street, Wakefield, MA with a 7 PM bell time.

This event is a women's version of NECW's innovative IRON 8 Tournament. 8 women will compete in 4 one on one match ups, with the 4 winners facing off in a 4 way, 30 minute iron woman match. The woman who scores the most pins or submissions in 30 minutes is the winner and the 2016 IRON MAIDEN Champion with a trophy being awarded to the winner.  It’s the first time a tournament of this type has been held involving women.

NECW/WWW Promoter, Sheldon Goldberg said, “We are very proud to be bringing this unique event to our area fans. We’ve already received ticket requests from fans throughout New England and the East Coast and we’re looking forward to the honor of shining the spotlight on these deserving women athletes.”

The eight women participating in the tournament are Triple W Champion, Nikki Valentine, Vanity Vixsen, former Triple W Champions, Mistress Belmont and Alexxis Nevaeh, Tequila Rose and newcomers M.J. Jenkins, Sonya Strong and Solo Darling.

In addition to the tournament, there will be a special World Women’s Wrestling tag team challenge match as Team Sea Stars – Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo square off against Helen Vale and Toxis. Plus, a special New England Championship Wrestling Feature Match to be announced.
