Boys & Girls Clubs to honor Epsilon, Middlesex Investment Partners, & Salem Five at Second Annual Gala!

On September 29th, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield will host their Gala at the Four Points Sheraton in Wakefield.

On September 29th, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield will host their second annual Gala at the Four Points Sheraton in Wakefield starting at 6:00 pm.

This year the Clubs will be honoring Epsilon, Middlesex Investment Partners, and Salem Five Bank.

Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield Adam Rodgers described the organizations as partners “who have made a significant difference in the lives of young people.”

Heather and Steve Fata, both Wakefield residents and Epsilon associates stated how grateful they were to Epsilon’s contributions to the Clubs. “The digital arts center, STEM lab, and Teen Center will provide an exciting opportunity for learning, as well as a wonderful space for our kids.”

Those sentiments were echoed by Salem Five.

“A deep commitment to our local communities and the nonprofit organizations that serve them is at the heart of our values at Salem Five,” said Ping Yin Chai, president and CEO of Salem Five. “The Boys and Girls Club provides essential programs, support and guidance for the young people in our community, and it is our pleasure to continue to support the wonderful work they do.”

However, no honoree has as long as a history with the Clubs than Middlesex Investment Partners.

“Cameron Bain, my grandfather Ernest Clivio, and many others worked hard to start this Club. My grandfather was the very first capital campaign chairperson. I think he would be very proud to see what the Clubs have become and where they are going. As a company, with the Club’s current emphasis on the mental health of our young people during this terrible opiate crisis, we are proud to be working with them.”

Last year 300 guests packed the Four Points in Sheraton and heard powerful testimonials from current and former members of the Clubs. Joey shared his story of abandonment. Christine talked about losing her brother to addiction. Shannon spoke about how hard it was to come out. All the stories had one theme in common, how the Clubs in Stoneham & Wakefield helped them during very difficult times.

Other than hearing testimonials – guests bid on auction items from vacation homes to sports tickets/memorabilia to cooking lessons with celebrity chefs, enjoyed a gourmet dinner, and heard about the Clubs’ plans for the future.
