Christmas Spirit in Wakefield

The Spirit of Christmas thrived throughout Wakefield early this morning.

Inside Rada’s Boutique three friends busily stuffed thirty women’s pocket books with colorful scarves, gloves and sundry items for donation to the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. “I love my community!” Rada exclaimed in the excitement, “Many women went out and purchased these beautiful bags to donate to my event.”

The heavy load was wheeled into the food panty where cheerful volunteers had been bustling all morning to ready countless items for those in need this holiday. “I want to take care of the women who are trying so hard to care for of all the others in their lives.” Rada explained, “A new bag gives them a bit of dignity. Making women strong through fashion is who we are at Rada, but this is one extra thing I have to offer at Christmas time.”
