Dog Licenses Available in Wakefield Starting Today

The following was provided by the office of Wakefield Town Clerk Mary Galvin:

The Town Clerk’s Office will license dogs with current rabies certificates from April 1 through May 31, 2013.   First time licensing will require proof of neutering plus a current rabies certificate.  Fees are $5. for neutered dogs, and $10. for non-neutered.

Owners of dogs licensed after May 31^st will be subject  to a $10. late fee, plus the license fee.

The Town Clerk’s Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday,  from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
