Blossoms at the Beebe

Tickets are now on sale for the fourth annual “Blossoms at the Beebe” a flower show, silent auction and wine tasting to benefit Beebe Library and the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, April 9, from 7-11 p.m. In addition to creative floral displays designed by local florists and flower enthusiasts, the event will feature a wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres donated by local restaurants, a cash bar and music for dancing by the band “Dangerous Men.” Those attending the April 9 evening celebration must be age 21 or older.

 

 The celebration once again takes place at Beebe Library, 345 Main St. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at the Reference Desk at Beebe Library, or online at www.blossomsatbeebe.com/. Proceeds from the event will go to the Beebe Library Book Fund and the Chamber’s community and civic projects.

On the following day, Sunday, March 10, a free all-ages Family Fun Day at the library will showcase the floral displays and the work of local artisans from 1-5 p.m. Arts and crafts activities will be offered from 2-4 p.m. The floral arrangements will be raffled during the Sunday event. The library will also be open for regular service.

This year’s Blossoms at the Beebe event will feature a silent auction. Bidding begins online on March 14 at https://www.biddingforgood.com and continues until April 6.
