Rally to 2012: A Wakefield/Melrose Democratic Committee Rally

"Rally to 2012,"  co-sponsored with the Melrose Democratic City Committee and held in partnership with Democratic Committees from surrounding communities, will be an opportunity for local democrats, as well as the general public, to come together and share ideas and strategies as we head into the 2012 Presidential Election season.

The rally will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 23 West Foster Street, Melrose.

 "Our committee's focus has been to expand our outreach efforts and to increase involvement," stated Betsy Sheeran, Chair of the Wakefield Town Democratic Committee. "We are very pleased to have Chairman Walsh join us and share his ideas as to how we, at the local level, can make a difference in the 2012 elections."  

John Walsh, Chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, will be at the "Rally to 2012"  event.  

"Rally to 2012"  is open to the public and there is no admission fee.
