Representative Brodeur and Representative Wong to Hold Special Joint District Office Hours on Redistricting

Wakefield– Representative Paul Brodeur and Representative Donald Wong will be holding special joint district office hours at Wakefield Town Hall on Friday, October 28^th at 9:30. The special office hours will be an opportunity for constituents to address their questions and concerns for the proposed changes to the district maps which will move precinct 3 of Wakefield from the 32^nd Middlesex District into the 9^th Essex District.

Under the proposal, constituents who live within precinct 3 will no longer be represented in the General Court by Rep. Brodeur of Melrose, who currently represents precincts 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the Town of Wakefield. Precinct 3 will be moved into the 9^th Essex District which currently includes precincts 1, 2, and 7 of Wakefield and its seat is currently held by Rep. Wong of Saugus.
