The Rise Up Singing Group

The Rise Up Singing Group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in our Social Hall.

Rise Up Singing is a sort of “round robin” singing circle, inspired by but not limited to the Rise Up Singing book from Sing Out Magazine. Singers and instrumentalists of all ages are welcome to this informal and spirited evening of shared music-making. Songs of all genres are welcome, whether or not they are among the 1200 songs included in the book. All are invited to sing with us. No music reading ability is needed. Bring a copy of Rise Up Singing if you have one.  Some copies will be available for those who don’t have their own.

There is no charge to attend but donations towards our collection of books and to our programs are welcome. We encourage you to bring a can, other non-perishable food or personal health items for the food pantry.
