
Sanborn- Place, Home Care & Day Services is hosting an Art Auction on Wednesday August 17, 2011 at their Sanborn Day Services facility in Wakefield to benefit EMARC of Reading. The event is sponsored in part by the Rotary Club of Reading.
Sanborn- Place, Home Care & Day Services offered to host the Art Auction for EMARC as a way to cross promote the two organizations that offer supportive services to the community. The auction, which will feature artwork by both artists from EMARC’s Center for Emerging Artists and community artists including Kate Clark, Christine Chisholm, Dave Olson and Greg Trakimas, will be held at the newly acquired and renovated Sanborn Day in Wakefield, MA. At auction will be over 30 pieces and a “Wet Paint” sale featuring landscape paintings on canvas. In addition there will be raffles and CEA Merchandise including Natural Elegance Jewelry for sale at the event. EMARC is still seeking tax deductible donations from community artists, please contact EMARC at aruiter@theemarc.org. For those artists wishing to donate, pieces must be received by August 12th, 2011. The event is sponsored in part by the Rotary Club of Reading.
