Students in fifth through eighth grade at the Galvin Middle School, St. Joseph's or another private school in Wakefield are invited to attend a dance Friday night at the Civic Center.
A note from Jamie Cook, who is organizing the dance:
The dance is being privately run and is not affiliated with the Galvin Middle School. Students from other towns will not be allowed into the dance unless they attend Saint Josephs. The cost is $7. Water will be sold for $1.

No hats, hoods or gum chewing will be allowed. Students will not be allowed to leave the dance before 10 p.m. unless a parent comes into the hall to pick them up. This will ensure that the dance is a safe and positive experience for the children. There is a desperate need for chaperones. If I do not get any chaperones for the dance it will be cancelled. I would suggest you check Friday’s paper before dropping your children off. All parents are responsible for their children and are encouraged to chaperone the dance.
If you would like to chaperone or have any questions call Janine Cook @ 781-245-1415 or send an email todetwincook@gmail.com.
