Event Spotlight: Wakefield History Museum Opens for Season Today

The Wakefield History Museum opens for its Winter season today.

Discover Wakefield's past by visiting the Wakefield Historical Society's collection at the Wakefield History Museum on 39 Prospect Street.

The current exhibit is "South Reading in the War of the Rebellion," but the Museum's permanent exhibitions of paintings, photographs and artifacts are also on view.

A great place to go for class field trips or for people who want to engage Wakefield and the surrounding areas past.

The Museum does have limited hours however, from noon to 2:00 p.m.
