Galvin Middle School Student Wins Third Place in MWRA Writing Contest; Representative Brodeur Attends Awards Ceremony
Student Wins for her essay "Whatever the Weather"

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority is pleased to announce that Abligail Wojtaszek, a fifth grader at the Galvin Middle School, Wakefield, won Third Place in MWRA’s Annual Writing Contest. This year, students across the MWRA service area were challenged to write essays and poems about how MWRA workers do their jobs in all kinds of weather. An awards ceremony was held on Friday, May 26 at the Deer Island Treatment Plant. Representative Paul Brodeur attended the ceremony and congratulated the winners.
