SOUTHERN RAIL IN WAKEFIELD, TUESDAY, JULY 11TH
Free Bluegrass concert on the Common.
Organizers of the Linden Tree Coffeehouse invite you and your friends and family to bring a picnic dinner to the Wakefield Common on Tuesday, July 11th. There is NO charge and the band will play from 6:30 until after 8pm. Enjoy the lakeside breezes and spectacular sunset while listening to one of the area’s most popular Bluegrass band, Southern Rail. Copies of their numerous CDs including their 12th, “Voices in the Wind.” will be available for purchase.
Celebrating over thirty years of performing, their performances are high-energy fun with riveting harmonies, irrepressible humor and sparkling banjo, mandolin, and guitar solo work. Bluegrass with a touch of gospel makes for a toe-tapping evening.

The entertaining Southern Rail band is Jim Muller on guitar and lead vocals, Sharon Horovitz on acoustic bass, Richard Stillman on banjo, and John Tibert on mandolin. www.southernrail.com

If rain is predicted, the concert will be moved to the social hall of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, 326 Main St Wakefield where monthly acoustic concerts from September to May are held. The 32nd season was supported in part by the Mass. Cultural Council, Wakefield Chapter.
