Leadership for Wakefield's Future
Please Re-Elect Wakefield Town Councilor Jonathan Chines

I am honored to announce my campaign for re-election to the Wakefield Town Council. Over the past few months, I have been engaging in a robust discussion with Wakefield' residents about my vision for our community and what I believe we can accomplish over the next three years. I ask for your vote on or before Tuesday, April 22.
Serving on the Wakefield Town Council for the last six years has been a tremendous honor, and I'm proud of all that we have accomplished together. Over the next three years, I'm excited to build on these successes to help secure a future that benefits all of Wakefield's residents.
- We can continue to improve quality of life by promoting commercial growth to moderate the property tax burden on Wakefield's homeowners, enhancing Wakefield's parks and community assets, and expanding our investment in pedestrian safety improvements.
- We can continue to promote openness and good government by embarking on a professional and thorough search for a new Town Administrator, building upon the performance management process developed for the Town Administrator in recent years, and engaging in succession planning for other key Town staff.
- We can continue to invest in Wakefield's future by completing construction of our new high school on-time and on-budget, and by developing capital plans for other aging facilities like the Greenwood School and Public Works garage.
Wakefield's voters have plenty of opportunities to make their voice heard in this spring's Town Election. Polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, April 22 at the Galvin Middle School from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Please note that this year, Election Day falls during April school vacation week. Anyone not able to vote on Election Day can also cast an absentee ballot at the Town Clerk's office in
Town Hall any time Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, or Friday 8:00 AM-12:30 PM. The last day to register to vote for the April Town Election is Friday, April 11.
