According to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), certain high risk COVID-19 communities will get a wireless emergency alert on cell phones after 5 p.m. this evening. Wakefield is among those cities and towns: Abington, Avon, Berkley, Canton, East Longmeadow, Fairhaven, Fall River, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Holliston, Marshfield, Milford, Pembroke, Rockland, Saugus, Somerset, Tyngsborough, Wakefield, and Weymouth.
