Odyssey Day School Community Service Club holding Stuffed Animal Drive for Refugee Children
ODSCSC is collecting new and gently used stuffed animals to give through NuDay Syria to children displaced by the war in the middle east
The Odyssey Day School Community Service Club (ODSCSC), a club made up of about 24 first through eighth grade students that is a member of the Roots & Shoots International Youth Service Program by the Jane Goodall Institute, is holding a "Stuffed Animal Drive" starting on Thursday, September 21 to mark the International Day of Peace, and continuing until Friday, October 20, and will be donating all animals that are collected to refugee children through the area non-profit NuDay Syria to children in the middle east who have had to flee their homes and leave behind their belongings because of the civil war. New and gently used animals can be dropped off at the Odyssey Office, at 2 Audubon Road, Wakefield, 01880 (across from the Sheraton, sharing a building with Onset Music School) Monday through Friday from 8AM - 6PM). All donations of appropriate animals greatly appreciated.
