Twenty-three candidates chasing town offices.

The countdown is on for Wakefield residents to cast their votes. With a month to go before the April 25 elections, here's a look at the offices and the candidates pursuing them.

Board of Selectmen (three-year term, vote for two): Phyllis Hull, Daniel Benjamin, Mehreen Butt, Stefan Chase, Edward Dombrowski, and James Lapery.

Town clerk (three-year term, vote for one): Betsy Sheeran.

Municipal Gas and Light Commissioner (three-year term, vote for one): John Warchol.

School Committee (three-year term, vote for two): Christopher Callanan, Ashley Shae Chase, Anne-Marie Fortier, Evan Kenney, and Gregory Powers.

Library Trustees (three-year term, vote for three): Michael Bourque, Joseph Tringale, and Susan Wetmore.

Planning Board (five-year term, vote for one): William D'Amore.

Board of Health (three-year term, vote for one): Alison Mehlman.

Board of Assessors (three-year term, vote for one): Sebastian Tine.

Constable (three-year term, vote for one): John Ruehrwein, Sr., Kevin Lopes, and Robert Stewart.
