Paul D'Angelo to be VIP at the Blossoms at the Beebe on April 30th

Comedian and Wakefield native Paul D’Angelo will be the featured VIP at the upcoming Blossoms at the Beebe to benefit the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library and the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce. The adult-only event will be held on Saturday evening, April 30th at the Library, 345 Main Street, Wakefield from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. As the event VIP, D’Angelo will be the guest speaker at the sponsor reception. He will also hold a book signing during the evening for the second of his two books, More Stories to Tell. Attendees can purchase a book at the event. In addition to the book signing, the 9th annual Blossoms at the Beebe will include a flower show showcasing the talents of professional florists; music by the steel drum band Pan Loco, who will play both inside and outside the Library; dance music by The Groove in the lobby; listening music in the lower level; gourmet hors d'oeuvres; a silent auction; a cash bar also featuring a signature drink which reflects the evening’s Caribbean Nights theme; and a casino room with games of Roulette, Black Jack, and Caribbean Stud Poker. Proceeds from the event support Library services, cultural events and the many Chamber projects that enhance the civic and economic life of the communities. This adult-only, 21 years-of-age and over event is always a sell-out, according to Blossoms at the Beebe Chair Susan Wetmore.
