Photo Gallery: Dellano Nets Five In Win Over Lynnfield

Mike Dellanno racked up five goals and two assists while Ryan Doherty had four goals and an assist as the Wakefield High boys lacrosse team went on the road to beat Lynnfield, 18-7, on Friday. 

Today's game was the best lacrosse we've played so far this season," said head coach Eric Gobiel. "We really came out and played a complete four quarters on both sides of the ball. The boys came out fired up from the start and never let up." 

Corey Davis finished with three goals and an assist with Alec Brown chipping in with a pair of goals and five assists. Andrew Finocchio and Alex Woolbert each finished with a goal and an assist while Sam bridges made 12 saves in goal. 

"This is how I expect to see them for the rest of the season," said Gobiel. "We need to carry today's focus and intensity and carry it into next week. We have three huge games this coming week and they should all be good tests for us."

The Warriors (2-2) will host Salem on Monday at 6 p.m. at Landrigan Field.
