Police Log: Two Separate Arrests for Drunk Driving
Wakefield Police arrested two different individuals for allegedly driving drunk in Wakefield on Wednesday.

Police first arrested Todd Crosby, 42, of Saugus around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Police said they first noticed Crosby because he was allegedly seen driving 15 miles over the speed limit on Old Nahant Road in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee. While following the car, police said they also observed Crosby swerve into the middle of the road twice. Police stopped the vehicle and reportedly determined through field sobriety tests that Crosby was under the influence of alcohol. Police said they also discovered an open can of beer in the car's center console, and that Crosby had an invalid inspection sticker. He will be charged out of Malden District Court for operating under the influence of liquor, being in posession of an open container of alcohol in a car, a marked lanes violation, speeding, and a rejected inspection sticker.

The second arrest for drunk driving charges in Wakefield on Wednesday was Laura Tecce, 42, of North Andover, MA. Police said a tenant of Tecce's called to say Tecce had come to her apartment around 11:15 p.m. then left in a white Avalanche. However, the caller said Tecce seemed intoxicated and wanted police to check on her. Police located Tecce in the car on Railroad Avenue with a juvenile passenger. The passenger was transported to the police station. Police evaluated Tecce and determined her to be intoxicated. She will be charged out of Malden District Court on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.
Other incidents:
9:04 a.m. - A resident of Whittier Road reported that a large white turtle lawn ornament was taken from her lawn sometime overnight.
10:29 a.m. - Paul Montieth, 34, of 41 Richardson Avenue in Wakefield was arrested at his residence on two oustanding warrant charges, one for trespassing out of Boston District Court and one for Larceny under $250 out of Somerville District Court.
7:19 p.m. - A resident of Charles Street reported her dog ran away from her home. The dog was described as a black lab without a collar.

Thursday, April 5:
4:02 a.m. - The security guard at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel on Audubon Road reported that several tour buses had been broken into. However, police had no further report on the incident at this time due to the amount of people who needed to be contacted to verify if any of their property had been stolen.
6:11 a.m. - A caller reported that someone had broken into his 2009 Ford Edge while it was parked overnight on Central Street. However, police had no further information on this incident at this time.
