Rev. Dr. Greg Hopwood Begins Ministry at First Parish Congregational Church, Wakefield
Rev, Dr, Greg Hopwood - First Parish Congregational Church
The First Parish Congregational Church of Wakefield is pleased to announce that it has called Reverend Dr. Greg Hopwood to be its senior pastor. Pastor Greg’s first service will be offered Sunday, August 28, at 9:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary at which time he will begin his sermon series, “Why Believe: Ten Reasons Why You Can Stand Strong In Your Faith.” Child care will be available for infants and toddlers during Sunday’s service.
Raised in Andover, MA, Pastor Greg comes to First Parish with twenty-five years of ministry experience. He holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree, an MBA in Urban Economic Development and a Doctorate of Ministry in Global Transformational Leadership. Prior to his accepting First Parish’s call, Pastor Greg served as a senior minister in Framingham, and before that, served at Gate City Church in Nashua, NH as an assistant minister and school administrator.
