Ruth's Way to Host Community Resource Fair...Love in Action

Ruth’s Way will host a Community Resource Fair, “Love in Action,” on Saturday, February 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant Street, Wakefield.

“Ruth’s Way provides safe, supportive sober housing and person-centered recovery support for women,” said Nicole OBrien, Executive Director and organizer of this FREE community event. “The Community Resource Fair is about extending that same spirit of support to the broader Wakefield community—bringing love into action through connection and shared resources.”

“Wakefield is home to one of our sober homes for women, and we are deeply involved in the community,” said Nicole. “This event reflects our commitment to collaboration, care, and making sure neighbors know they are not alone. We’re grateful to Reverend Brett Johnson, Pastor of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, for sharing their building with us for the event.”

The Community Resource Fair is designed to bring neighbors together and highlight resources and services available to residents of Wakefield and the surrounding areas. Local organizations are invited to participate, share information, and connect directly with community members. Vendor space is available for organizations interested in being part of this community-focused event.

The event emphasizes community support, connection, and care—encouraging residents to learn more about available services while strengthening neighborhood relationships.
