The Savings Bank makes a donation to the Saugus River Watershed Council

The Savings Bank recently presented a $1,000 donation to the Saugus River Watershed Council as a sponsor of the organization’s Casino Royale fundraiser. Joining in the check presentation were (from left to right) Bruce Donovan, Vice President, Senior Branch Administration, The Savings Bank; Joan Leblanc, Executive Director, Saugus River Watershed Council; Raichelle Kallery, Senior Vice President, Senior Retail Banking Officer, The Savings Bank; and Susan Wetmore, Membership and Outreach Coordinator, Saugus River Watershed Council. Founded in 1991, the Saugus River Watershed Council is a non-profit organization created to protect and restore the natural resources of the Saugus River watershed. The Savings Bank’s sponsorship will help provide quality environmental education programs to school groups throughout the watershed and continue protecting valuable natural resources such as Lake Quannapowitt, the Saugus River, and the Rumney Marshes Area of Critical Environmental Concern.
