Wakefield is now the home of solar power arrays that will generate 230 kilowatts of renewable energy.
WAKEFIELD, MA — Ameresco, a Framingham-based company, has partnered with Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light to install energy-efficient solar arrays.
The installation will provide Wakefield with 230 kilowatts of renewable energy.
“We are so thrilled that the construction of this important project is officially completed and are proud to be a partner to (Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light) on their sustainability journey,” said Executive Vice President and General Manager of the East Region at Ameresco Pete Christakis said in a statement. “The clean energy transition wouldn’t be possible without the help of organizations committed to implementing sustainable infrastructure upgrades like solar energy solutions that can make a real difference, both in the short and long-term.”
