State Rep. Will be Collecting Donated Children's Books
Representative Paul Brodeur is sponsoring a booth at the Melrose Victorian Fair.

One of Wakefield’s state representatives, Paul Brodeur will be collecting donated children’s books in good repair at the upcoming Victorian Festival in Melrose.
In addition to a children’s book mark making craft, and a photo booth where readers young and old can show off what they read this summer.
“We’ve had such great feedback from the clients and staff at local food banks,” said Brodeur. “We so often forget that in addition to the basics like food and shelter, children desperately need intellectual stimulation. Providing them with books is the best way to jump start successful academic careers.”
