Thanks for the Public Forum on the Hurd School
Kudos to the Town for including the public
Kudos and thanks to the Town for last night’s public forum on the Hurd School. It was very well attended by residents, most of whom had been notified by the town with flyers.
Getting a chance to see portions of the inside of the school and then to speak about what could be done with the building was exactly how the beginning of these processes should be conducted.
There were enough Town officials in attendance to answer questions and offer insight but the best part of the evening was that 90% of the time was given to residents to speak and be heard about what they want to see done with this wonderful old building. And, to top it all off, WCAT was there to tape the forum so that others can benefit from it, too.
