Town Of Wakefield Releases Holiday Trash, Recycling Schedule

WAKEFIELD, MA — Monday's holiday will impact trash and recycling collection.

The week of February 17 will follow a holiday schedule, with Monday’s collection moving to Tuesday, Tuesday’s collection to Wednesday, and so on. Take a look at the 2025 Public Works calendar (2 pages) so you’re in the know about all the holiday-collection weeks and other important events.

Town Hall, the Senior Center, and Lucius Beebe Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, February 17. Many municipal tasks can be performed online, including permit applications, tax and water payments, and more. If you need to drop off any paperwork, feel free to utilize the black dropboxes on the side of Town Hall. In addition, the Library's website features a wide array of digital resources, including ebooks, newspapers, audiobooks, music, movies, and more.
