Upcoming Town Meeting Schedule

Summer is traditionally a slow time for municipal and school meetings, but activity is picking up over the next week.

On Friday, August 7, the School Committee’s Budget Sub-Committee is meeting at the Superintendent’s office at 7 a.m. Items on the agenda include discussion of the post grad program and possible cross municipal partnership, and a discussion of additional Title I funding.

The Traffic Advisory Committee meets on Monday, August 10 at 8 a.m. at Town Hall. Among the items on the agenda is a discussion of parking restrictions on Lakeview Avenue.

The Planning Board meets on Tuesday, August 11 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Items on the agenda include a plan for 14 Spring Avenue as well as discussion of several zoning amendments.

The School Board also meets on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the WCAT studio. The superintendent is expected to discuss projected enrollments and class sizes.
