Wakefield Civic League Chats Resume October 13

The Wakefield Civic League (WCL) is happy to announce that its popular “Chats” will start up again next month!

WCL Chats are small, casual discussion groups that are free and open to everyone. Seating is limited and must be reserved ahead of time. Chats are held 4 to 6 times a year and offer a relaxed environment for talking about anything Wakefield. Refreshments are served – our signature offering is chocolate covered strawberries – in a comfortable and friendly setting.

Next month’s Chat will be held on Thursday, October 13, at 7 PM at 25 Tuttle Street in the historic train depot, now ReMax, building. There is plenty of free parking in that area.

Those who would like to attend must reserve their seat ahead of time as the Chats are not designed to be open houses and the group size is limited to ensure good conversation. Seats are saved on a first-come, first-served basis, and those on the wait list get first dibs at the next Chat.

Please join us starting next month for some interesting and informative conversation and a chance to meet some new neighbors and, perhaps, see some old friends.

You can contact the WCL at 781-451-7849, via its Facebook page or on its website, wakefieldcivicleague.net

Bring your questions and ideas, and we hope to see you there!
