WAKEFIELD, MA — The Wakefield Food Pantry is working hard to make sure that no one in the community goes hungry. To that end, they are conducting a study to learn about the need for food among residents and the barriers that prevent people from getting food, including money, transportation, or accessibility of food markets.

The study includes data review and interviews with the staff of local housing, education, and social service providers, but the missing piece is the voice of residents. To capture this information, the Food Pantry is conducting a survey for community members to share information about their ability to get the food they need.
