Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry: Malden Organization makes $25,000 Donation
Wakefield's food pantry received a generous donation benefitting residents in need.

WAKEFIELD, MA—The Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry received a generous gift from a fellow nonprofit on Wednesday.
Beth Israel Senior Citizens Housing, Inc. of Malden made a generous donation of $25,000 to the Wakefield food pantry, according to a Wednesday release.

With this new equipment, we are now able to store fresh produce and meats which allows our clients to cook healthier and heartier foods without relying solely on canned food items. For example, the walk-in freezer allows us to buy much more food in bulk and purchase items such as turkeys for the holiday season because we now have the space to keep them.
BISCHI is a 501(c) (3) charity involved in community housing for the elderly and adults with disabilities.
