The Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department (WMGLD) wants its customers to "Go Green"
The Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department (WMGLD) wants its customers to “Go Green” by registering for an online account, going paperless, making an online payment, or signing up to pay by text.
To encourage online management and payments, the WMGLD, in cooperation with Invoice Cloud Inc., is sponsoring a Go Green Sweepstakes on its website (www.wmgld.com) for a chance to win an 8th generation iPod Nano 16GB.
According to contest rules, each time an eligible customer signs up for an online account, agrees to opt out of a paper bill, pays on line, or signs up to pay by text for the first time between August 1, 2016 and October 31, 2016, they will be entered in the sweepstakes. The maximum number of entries per location number is four.

Customers do not need to register for an online account to pay online or go paperless. The Invoice Cloud service website's database clock will be the official time keeper for the Sweepstakes. Internet entry must be made by the entrant, only at the WMGLD payment portal on its website www.wmgld.com.
All entrants must be a WMGLD customer over the age of 18 and a legal resident of the United States.

Customers can also enter the sweepstakes by sending a 3x5 card (a limit of four)
with the hand printed words WMGLD Sweepstakes, with the customer’s name, address, telephone number, and the account location number. Cards can be sent to Invoice Cloud, 30 Braintree Hill Office Park, Suite 303, Braintree, MA, 02184. Entries must be postmarked by
October 31, 2016.
WMGLD employees and their family members are not eligible to enter the Go Green Sweepstakes. Other restrictions and entry ineligibilities are listed on the website www.wmgld.com.
“We’re encouraging all our customers to create an online account to not only experience the convenience of online payments and invoices, but to also help keep track of their energy consumption,” WMGLD General Manager Pete Dion said. “And one lucky customer will have the opportunity to win a new iPod Nano.”
