The Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department would like its customers to save the environment by going paperless
The Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department (WMGLD) wants its customers to save the environment by going paperless and opting to receive email bills each month rather than traditional paper bills.
To encourage customer participation in the paperless billing option, the WMGLD is offering two (2) free 7.5-watt LED bulbs to customers who sign up to receive paperless bills. The WMGLD is also encouraging customers to take advantage of its autopay option by offering a free energy-saving power strip to all customers who sign up for the automatic electronic payment option.
“We want our customers to help us save energy while also helping to save the environment,” WMGLD General Manager Pete Dion said. “Sign-up for both options is simple and can be done in just minutes on our website www.wmgld.com.”
