Wakefield Retirement Board Seeking Board Member

This is a three-year non-compensated term.

The Wakefield Retirement Board is seeking applicants for the position of the Fifth Member of the Retirement Board. The Fifth Member along with the other four members of the Board acts as a fiduciary of the Wakefield Retirement System. In order to qualify, interested parties shall not be an employee, a retiree or an official of the Town of Wakefield. This is a three-year non-compensated term.

The Fifth Member will be required to attend Board meetings typically held on the third Thursday of every month at 8:00 a.m. via Zoom virtual meetings and at other times as needed. They will also be required to complete 18 hours of educational credits during their term and to file an Annual Statement of Financial Interest with PERAC.
