Inspired by Rotary District 7930's Homelessness and Hunger Initiative years ago, the Wakefield Rotary Club made strong connections with the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. This year, the club decided to donate half of the income from the Dine Anywhere in the World raffle to the organization. This past week, the club was delighted to present the Wakefield Food Pantry a "big" check. Food Pantry board members and volunteers sold 30 of the 200 tickets. Doreen McGowan, Food Pantry Board president, accepted the check and hopes she can find a big ATM.
