Wakefield State Primary Results

WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield residents hit the polls for the Sept. 8 State Primary Election. Residents are chose nominees for the U.S. House of Representatives, the state Senate and House, the Governor’s Council and county sheriff.

Democratic Governor's Councilor

Terrence W. Kennedy: 81.14 percent

Stephen Borelli: 13.85 percent

Richard J. DiMeo: 5 percent

9th Essex District Democratic State Representative

Jennifer Migliore: 54.08 percent

Saritin E. Rizzuto: 45.81 percent

Middlesex County Sheriff

Peter J. Koutoujian: 57.13 percent

Berry S. Kelleher: 42.42 percent
