Walter Schofield announces decision to seek a position on the Wakefield Board of Assessors as a write-in candidate

Greetings Wakefield friends and neighbors,

I am announcing today my decision to seek a position on the Wakefield Board of Assessors as a write-in candidate. My reason for wanting to serve in this capacity is to help create fair and equitable assessment and taxation tables for all citizens and businesses, forging our consistent path towards growth in our great community.

I have been a member of the West Side Social Club 4th of July committee for almost two decades, and a current volunteer on the Wakefield Event Planning Committee as their Logistics Director. It has been a pleasure and honor to serve in these capacities, and I continue to look at additional opportunities to serve this great town of Wakefield.

My professional credentials include being a VP of Sales and Marketing for a Fortune 100 company, responsible for all aspects of finance with 150+ worldwide affiliates, as well as creating, managing and selling several of my own businesses over the past few decades.

I would be honored to serve on the Wakefield Board of Assessors and I promise to be fair and impartial in my duties if elected. I respectfully ask for, and would greatly appreciate your vote on April 26th.
