Walpole residents perform in Boston theater

Two talented Walpole residents are bringing their musical skills to Riverside Theatre Works in Hyde Park, where they will appear as part of the theater's March concert series.

On Saturday, March 22, Walpole resident Kim Igoe Kasper will appear in the theater's annual reunion show, titled That's Entertainment: A Night with Oscar and Tony. The show will feature more than 30 local performers who have recently trod the Riverside boards, some of whom have gone on to appear on Broadway and in national tours.

Kasper most recently appeared at Riverside in last December's Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical, where she provided both poignancy and comic relief as Sister Robert Anne.

Then, on Saturday, March 29, Walpole's multi-talented Tracey O’Farrell will perform her one-woman cabaret, Forget You, directed by well-known cabaret performing artist John O’Neil. In Forget You, Tracey explores the dark side of romance, from break-ups to moving on. This one-woman show is a lighthearted evening of songs and stories including pop, Broadway and country, with special guest performances by Boston talents Joe Berry and Leigh Barrett. Pianist Jim Rice will accompany Tracey and her guests.

Both concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $25 and can be purchased in advance by visiting rtwboston.org or by calling 1-866-811-4111. Riverside Theatre Works is located at 45 Fairmount Ave., Hyde Park, MA.
