In Foxborough, the Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 5K/10K will take place on July 3rd at Gillette Stadium.
The 5K will start at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Putnam Club on the east side of the stadium. Runners will race around the Gillette Stadium property and into the stadium about halfway into the race before finishing at the 50 yard line.
Once inside the stadium, the course goes up into the 300 level, back down to the 100 level, and on to the field through the visitor's entrance.
At 6:30, the 10K race will take runners on a new course which uses less roads around Foxborough but takes the 10K race into the stadium for the first time. Like previous years, the race will leave the property through the access road to North Street but runners will take a left instead of a right. The course takes runners down North, left on Young, and right on Edwards before turning around and heading back towards the stadium.
After returning to Gillette Stadium, runners will do the same loop though the stadium as the 5K did.
Before the road races, there will be a fun run at 3 p.m. on the stadium field for children 12 and under. Children six and under will compete in 50-100 yard races while children over six will race around the stadium field.
Online registration ends at 9 a.m. on July 1st but in-person registration is open until the day of the race at the Fitness Fair/Expo.
