Waltham Ward 6 Preliminary Election 2018: Who Won
Two names will now be on the ballot in September.

WALTHAM, MA — And the voters of Ward 6 have spoken. Sharline Nabulime and Sean Durkee will be vying for the Ward 6 City Councilor seat in the September Special election.
Residents of Waltham’s Ward 6 headed to the polls Tuesday to figure out who would make the final ballot ifor the special election to fill the Ward 6 City Council seat left empty by Robert Waddick, who resigned in May to apply for the City Clerk Position. He was in the running with a couple others, and appointed June 16.
Nabulime got the most votes; at 229 followed by and Sean Durkee with 165 votes. Charles G Smerlas came in third with 145 votes.

Only 630 people out of 3,909 voters cast ballots in the special preliminary election on September 25.
