• 'We want it to look messy': Former Makepeace cranberry farm is being returned to a bog (theweektoday.com) — A former Wareham cranberry bog at Century Bog is being transformed back into a natural wetland, as MassWildlife and the Buzzards Bay Coalition restore Red Brook's ecosystem and improve fish habitat. Crews are reshaping the stream, removing farm infrastructure, and encouraging native plants, with most work wrapping up by December and future public access via hiking paths planned. 
• South Coast fatal crash victim remembered for love of cars and motorcycles as family endures second tragedy in 3 years (fallriverreporter.com) — Wareham residents are mourning 23-year-old Cristian Hagopian, who died after a motorcycle crash near Charge Pond Road and is remembered for his love of cars, bikes, and helping others. His family, already grieving a brother lost in 2023, has seen strong community support through a fundraiser as investigators continue to review the circumstances of the crash.
