Eliza Dushku Accuses Stunt Coordinator Of Molesting Her At 12
The Watertown native's "True Lies" co-stars have publicly expressed their support after she alleged Joel Kramer molested her during filming.
WATERTOWN, MA – Watertown native Eliza Dushku over the weekend accused a longtime Hollywood stunt coordinator of molesting her when she was 12 years old. In a Jan. 13 Facebook post, Dushku alleged Joel Kramer abused her in his Miami hotel room during the filming of "True Lies," in which she played the daughter of leads Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis.
"Over the course of those months rehearsing and filming True Lies, it was Joel Kramer who was responsible for my safety on a film that at the time broke new ground for action films," Dushku wrote after detailing the alleged molestation. "On a daily basis he rigged wires and harnesses on my 12 year old body. My life was literally in his hands: he hung me in the open air, from a tower crane, atop an office tower, 25+ stories high. Whereas he was supposed to be my protector, he was my abuser."
Two more women have since alleged sexual misconduct by Kramer. He has denied the accusations but admitted to having sex with the 16-year-old friend of a stuntwoman's sister who visited the set of the film "Virus" in 1997. Kramer also called Dushku's allegations "outlandish, manipulative lies" and said he is "sick to my stomach," according to Deadline.

Kramer, Arnold Schwarzenegger's one-time stunt double, has over 90 credits to his name, including "Blade Runner 2049," "Heat," and "Furious 7." He was 36 at the time of the alleged molestation of Dushku.
Dushku's "True Lies" co-stars came out in support of the former child actress, with Schwarzenegger and Tom Arnold tweeting that they would have done something if they had known what happened. Curtis wrote an essay for the Huffington Post in which she said Dushku privately disclosed the alleged abuse to her a few years ago, and the film's director James Cameron said there would have been "no mercy" if he had known.

"Had I known about it, there would have been no mercy," Cameron said during a Q&A with TV critics on Saturday, according to Boston.com. "Now, especially when I have daughters, there really is no mercy."
Tom, you bet your ass all of us would have done something. I’m shocked and saddened for Eliza but I am also proud of her - beyond being a great talent and an amazing woman, she is so courageous. https://t.co/EJJbkdior2
