Town Council Meeting

The Town Council meets tonight at 7:15 p.m. in the Council Chamber in Town Hall.

AGENDA

a)  Submission date of the Fiscal Year 2013 Budget.

8.  PRESENTATIONS OF PROCLAMATION:  Honoring Thomas Wade for his many years of service as Executive Director of the Watertown Housing Authority.

9.  PUBLIC HEARING AND VOTE:

a) Public hearing and vote on a proposed loan order authorizing the Town Treasurer with the Approval of the Town Manager to borrow and/or expend monies in the amount of $1,237,000 under Chapter 44 of the General Laws or any other enabling authority, for the purpose of purchasing departmental equipment for the Fire Department, Department of Public Works, Information Technology, Senior Center and Police Department; and further ordered that in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 20 of the General Laws, amounts borrowed and unexpended to purchase a fire pumper truck pursuant to Loan Order No. 0-2009-70, in the amount of $70,153.90, are transferred to pay for a portion of the total cost of a new fire pumper truck.

a) First Reading on a proposed Ordinance to Temporarily Modify the Operation of the Administration Building.

b) Resolution authorizing a transfer of funds in the amount of $25,000 from the Fiscal Year 2012 Town Council Reserve Account to the Fiscal Year 2012 Skating Rink Improvements Account in order to move forward with the rebuilding of the compressors at the John A. Ryan Skating Arena.c) Resolution authorizing transfers in order to fund an Agreement with the Town Hall Associates, SEIU, Local 888 covering the period of July 1, 2010 – June 30, 2013.11.
