Fire Damages Watertown Square Restaurant
Crews quickly put out a fire at a Japanese restaurant Thursday morning.

WATERTOWN, MA — A two-alarm fire at a Watertown Square restaurant has been brought under control. The fire started in the kitchen of New Ginza Japanese Restaurant on Galen Street. There is some smoke and water damage, according to 7-News.
Drivers were asked to avoid Galen Street and the Watertown Square area. Fire crews from nearby towns assisted at the scene.
Please avoid Galen St. and the Watertown Square area. PD & FD units are dealing with a structure fire at 64 Galen St. Thank you for the cooperation.
