WATERTOWN, MA — Police in Watertown and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office are investigating a possible shooting incident in town last night, according to a press alert. A man from Watertown, who is in his 20s, was dropped off at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge at just after 10 p.m. on Feb. 24, 2018, with “multiple gunshot wounds,” according to the DA’s Office. The man was subsequently transported to a Boston area hospital where he remains in serious condition, the alert noted.
“As part of the investigation police are executing a search warrant at an Arsenal Street home,” the alert noted. “The preliminary investigation suggests this was not a random act; however, the motive and circumstances remain under investigation.”
