See Something, Text Something: MBTA Releases See Say App

The MBTA releases a new Android and iPhone app for riders who see something, but may not be able to say something.

The next time you see something on the T, there is now an app that will help you say something.

The MBTA See Say app, which is available on iPhone and the Herald says comes out for Android smartphones in July, allows users to contact Transit Police at the touch of a button or report a problem with a photo. The report screen also includes a switch to allow for anonymous reporting.

The MBTA also plans to have full cell coverage by the end of the year, Boston.com reports, which will make reporting with the app a little simpler. In the meantime, BostInno reports that the app will send reports filed while in no-signal areas one the phone reconnects to a network.
