We asked Patch readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "People not stopping at stop signs as they race through side streets to avoid traffic."
- "The deadly intersection of Church, Common, and Orchard Streets. The fact that it feeds to Watertown High makes the lack of a light or rotary inexcusable."
- "At some intersections, pedestrians get a walk signal and cars are allowed to take a turn into their path. This happens in Watertown Square."
- "Any of the intersections on church street. Live on Palfrey and Church, almost monthly accidents!"
- "Moose"
