Liberal Media Bias: Does It Exist?

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are heading into the Republican Convention with a strong tail wind. Polling shows Romney and Barack Obama tied in battleground states. Let's face it, the battleground states are going to decide it. The economy continues to stall, food and gas prices are higher, four straight years of trillion dollar deficits and unemployment over 8 percent. Folks, this goes on and on.  What does Obama actually run on?

You've got it...nothing. His only hope is to distract, discredit and deceit (just plain lie). 

Obama has another source of help and that is the adoring and liberal mainstream media.

If you are a liberal you might be saying, "Who does this Toto think he is?" Well, I'm an honors graduate of Northeastern University's School of Journalism. I  abandoned being a journalist to pursue the American Dream and now find myself an executive at a computer company, but I digress. The mainstream media want Obama to win and are actively engaged in his re-election.

Oh, you want proof. I'm limiting my blog so you and I both don't get bored, but here are a few examples.

CNN, NBC and MSNBC are airing Romney specials focusing on his "Mormonism." Did these outlets spend time examining Obama's embrace of Rev. Wright's hate-filled "Church?" Did the media do in-depth stories on Obama's admitted "youthful" drug abuse? His shady land-deal with Tony Rezko? Come on, the media did everything they could to stop those stories. However, examining the Mormon religion is important to the media.

You want something more current you say? How about Floyd Corkins? Forgot already?  The media did a good job on that one. Corkins has been charged with going to the conservative Family Research Council and shooting the security guard before being subdued. Most media outlets did not mention Corkins had Chick-fil-A sandwiches with him and was a volunteer at a gay community center. There was almost no coverage of Corkins' court appearance. Wonder why? Makes you think a bit doesn't it? Want to talk about the violent, anti-American Occupy movement the media loves and how they write negative stories about the peaceful Tea Party? 

My goodness I could be here all day. 

Gentle readers, I know the media. I've heard them talk amongst themselves, read their stories, watch how they edit programs. The media is overwhelmingly liberal and it sadly shows and Americans suffer.
