Wayland Housing Update: Closed Sales Higher Than Last Year

The number of single-family homes sold in Wayland during June was 4.5 percent higher than during June 2011; however, the median sale price was lower by 15.9 percent.

Year-to-date (January-June) the number of closed sales in Wayland was up substantially, 41.9 percent; sale prices are also up, but only by 2.7 percent. Inventory levels are lower, reducing the number of months’ supply to 6.9 months.
